Эндоскопическое ультразвуковое исследование (ЭУЗИ) позволяет предположить глубину инвазии опухоли. Ретроспективно оценены результаты обследования 25 пациентов (5 - рак пищевода, 6 - желудка, 1 - ДПК, 13 - толстой кишки). Ошибочное определение глубины инвазии по результатам ЭУЗИ встретили в 20% случаев. ЭУЗИ служит ориентировочным методом определения возможности эндоскопического удаления раннего рака. Эндоскопические технологии лечения раннего рака пищевода, желудка и толстой кишки в настоящее время являются одними из методов радикального лечения. Важнейшей предпосылкой в реализации этих методик, претендующих на радикализм лечения следует считать глубину инвазии опухоли в стенку органа. Эндоскопическое ультразвуковое исследование позволяет оценить степень инвазии опухоли в предоперационном периоде, что дает возможность сократить число паллиативных вмешательств.
